As a Compliance Technician - Product Safety, you will oversee projects, provide technical support to customers, and work in a state-of-the-art test facility. If you are a self-starter with a keen attention to detail, enjoy analysis, and strive for integrity, quality, and customer focus in your career, this is the position for you!\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPerform Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests and document results appropriately in accordance with SEL’s quality system.\n\nDevelop and maintain an in-depth understanding of applicable standards and requirements for EMC testing.\n\nValidate and troubleshoot test equipment and setups to ensure compliance.\n\nProvide overall support to Product Compliance and R&D personnel.\n\nSeek opportunities to identify, measure, and improve processes and documentation.\n\nFollow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing.\n\nUnderstand. Create. Simplify.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nTwo-year electronic technology or related associate degree\n5+ years of experience with EMC compliance test methods and philosophies at an electronics development and manufacturing company\nHands on working knowledge of common EMC testing equipment\nTesting experience with one or more of the following:\nIEC/EN/KN 61000-4-2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -8, -9, -10, -11, -12, -13, -16, -17, -18, -29\nIEC/EN 61000-3-2, -3\nIEC/EN/KN 60255-26\nIEEE C37.90.1, .2, .3\nUnintentional Radiators (FCC Part 15B and CISPR 11, 22, 32)\nStrong attention to details\nStrong writing, documentation, and speaking skills\nAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities\nAbility to work cooperatively in a team environment\nSelf-motivated/self-starter with the ability to work independently in an efficient manner\nPreferred Qualifications\nProgramming skills and testing automation\n\nFamiliarity with EMC design mitigation methods and best practices\n\nLocation\nPullman, WA - This position is located in Pullman, WA.
