If you are a current student at an accredited university in the Lakewood, CO area looking for an opportunity to develop your electrical design knowledge, learn from industry leading engineers, and enhance your academic learning, then this may be the position for you!\nAs a Drafter Intern, a typical day might include the following:\nCreating detailed physical and electrical designs, bills of materials, and job estimates under the technical supervision of an engineer.\nPreparing CAD or Microstation drawings and other project documentation.\nProviding low-level engineering support to engineers and other support personnel within division.\nCompleting assigned work within agreed upon schedule and budget to a high level of quality.\nConstructing relay equipment racks for testing purposes on projects and assist with the testing.\nThis job might be for you if:\nYou are a current student pursing a degree in EET, CAD, Drafting, or relevant discipline.\nYou have demonstrated competence in CADD drafting (AutoCAD and/or Microstation).\nYou have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.\nYou are able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.\nYou are able to work cooperatively in team environment.\nAbout Our Team\nThe Engineering Services team partners with utilities, industrial customers, and internal teams to deliver protection, automation, and control solutions.
