If you are a current student, this might be the ideal position for you.\nAs an Electrical Engineering Intern, a typical day might include the following:\nProviding technical support to SEL staff & customers.\nDeveloping and maintaining knowledge in SEL processes and technologies.\nPerforming testing on new and existing technology.\nAssisting engineers with electrical enclosure and test rack creation.\nDeveloping simulators and performing test for customer Protection/Automation systems.\nAssisting with HMI creation, PLC programming.\nAssisting with Power system studies and SEL relay settings.\nPerforming research into and testing on new tools and technologies.\nFollow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.\nUnderstand. Create. Simplify.\nOther duties as assigned.\nThis position might be for you if you:\nAre a current student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with at least one year of technical coursework completed.\nAre able to work on-site in Wesley Chapel, FL part-time during the school year and full-time in the summer.\nAre a current student graduating in December 2027 or after.\nExperience in programming and script files\nPractical knowledge of 3-phase power systems\nHave working knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers\nAre able to use MS Windows and serial port terminal emulation software\nHave strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills\nAre able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities\nAre able to work cooperatively in a team environment\nHave background check results satisfactory to SEL & negative drug test result(s)\nLocation Information\nWesley Chapel, FL - This position is located in Wesley Chapel, FL, a thriving community just 30 minutes from downtown Tampa.
