As an Engineering Support Specialist, you'll work alongside technicians to repair, and test customer devices in our Product Hospital team.\nAs an Engineering Support Specialist, a typical day might include the following:\nCompleting basic testing, services, or troubleshooting of SEL products and processes in accordance with defined procedures or guidelines under the direction of more experienced staff.\n\nProviding status updates to SEL staff and customers while communicating effectively with team members, internal partners, and customers.\n\nLearning and following department processes while identifying opportunities for improvement to documentation or work instructions.\n\nRepresenting your team by participating in collaborative improvement efforts.\n\nDeveloping basic proficiency in the activities required to support one of the Operation Team’s disciplines (i.e., Troubleshooting, Product Hospital, Test Floor Support, or Test Lab).\n\nLearning and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.\n\nUnderstanding. Creating. Simplifying.\n\nPerforming other duties as assigned.\n\nThis job might be for you if:\nYou have demonstrated experience or proficiency supporting more than one of the discipline areas.\n\nYou can efficiently operate Windows and MS Office.\n\nYou possess strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.\n\nYou are eager to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.\n\nYou work cooperatively in a team environment.\n\nYou can pass a background check and drug test.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nThree years’ experience working with SEL products.\n\nExperience with computer-controlled test equipment.\n\nAbility to read and interpret assembly drawings, electronic schematics, and wiring diagrams.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nLift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 35 pounds occasionally.\n\nSit and stand for at least 8 hours.\n\nVision correctable to 20/30 or better.\n\nAbility to differentiate color.\n\nUse of computer keyboard devices.\n\nReach, bend, twist.\n\nLocation\nPullman, WA - This position is located in Pullman, WA.
