As a Lead Compliance Engineer - EMC, you will oversee projects, provide technical support to customers, and work in a state-of-the-art test facility. If you are a self-starter with a keen attention to detail, enjoy analysis, and strive for integrity, quality, and customer focus in your career, this is the position for you!\nAs a Lead Compliance Engineer - EMC, a typical day might include the following:\nDevelop and maintain a detailed understanding of the applicable standards and requirements for the EMC testing of automation, communication, monitoring, and protection equipment for industrial and public utility environments.\n\nDevelop compliance tests, procedures, and reports for EMC testing in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.\n\nDevelop and maintain a general understanding of SEL products and markets.\n\nProvide general technical and design assistance to product development teams.\n\nMentor Engineers and Technicians in EMC testing.\n\nThis job might be for you if you have:\nB.S. in Electrical Engineering, or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience\n\n8+ years of experience with EMC compliance test methods and philosophies at an electronics development and manufacturing company\n\nFamiliarity with EMC design mitigation methods and best practices for equipment in industrial and public utility environments\n\nHands on working knowledge of common EMC testing equipment\n\nExperience with the following: IEC/EN/KN 61000-4-2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -8, -9, -10, -11, -12, -16, -17, -18, -29; IEC/EN 61000-3-2, -3; IEC/EN/KN 60255-26; IEEE C37.90.1, .2, .3; Unintentional Radiators (FCC Part 15B and CISPR 11, 22, 32)\n\nSelf-motivated/self-starter\n\nStrong writing, documentation, and public speaking skills\n\nAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities\n\nAbility to work cooperatively in a team environment\n\nPullman, WA - This position is located in Pullman, WA.
