The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing advanced power system studies using industry-standard tools such as PSCAD, PSS®E, and other simulation platforms. This role requires strong technical skills combined with the ability to present complex solutions to large industrial customers, bulk power consumers, and utilities.\nAs a Project Engineer - Studies a typical day might include the following:\nPerform dynamic, transient, and steady-state studies for transmission and distribution networks, including:\nGrid stability analysis (voltage, frequency, rotor angle stability).\nShort-circuit, load flow, and contingency analysis.\nRenewable integration studies (wind, solar, hybrid systems).\nDevelop mitigation strategies and stability recommendations for complex power systems.\nModel and simulate large industrial loads, bulk power consumers, and interconnection points.\nConduct protection coordination and system reliability assessments.\nPrepare technical reports and presentations for customers, EPCs, and regulatory bodies.\nCollaborate with internal teams on project execution and proposal development.\nStay updated on grid codes, compliance standards, and emerging technologies.\nThis job might be for you if:\nElectrical Degree or Master's in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems specialization).\nMin 4years of experience in power system studies and analysis.\nProficiency in PSCAD, PSS®E, and familiarity with other tools (ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory preferred).\nStrong understanding of:\nDynamic and transient stability.\nVoltage and frequency control strategies.\nRenewable integration challenges.\nProven ability to present technical solutions to customers and stakeholders.\nExcellent communication and report-writing skills.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with HVDC systems, FACTS devices, and grid modernization projects.\nKnowledge of IEC and IEEE standards related to power system studies.\nAbility to mentor junior engineers and contribute to skill development programs.\nLocation\nBengaluru - India\nWhy SEL?\nCompetitive pay.
