In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with industrial power system customers and related stakeholders across multiple regions around the world. If you enjoy solving problems in a fast-paced environment and have a deep understanding of power systems and SEL products, this role is for you!\nAs an Application Engineer, a typical day might include the following:\n Collaborating with Account Managers, ES, and customers to provide innovative solutions to complex problems.\nAssisting customers with SEL products through visits, demos, training, and calls.\nDeveloping customer-specific training material and teaching expertise in power systems and SEL products.\nPresenting at SEL events, industry meetings, and conferences.\nTeaching SEL University courses.\nPublishing application guides, course materials, and technical papers; reviewing others’ work.\nEnhancing customer feedback processes, training materials, and lead improvement initiatives.\nThis job might be for you if you have…\nA Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent\nA minimum of 8 years of experience with power system protection and relays\nRelevant work experience and knowledge of utility and industrial power systems with an emphasis on protection, control, and operations.\nSkills in teaching power system principles and concepts\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills\nThe ability to actively identify and pursue ways to improve customer experience\nAn innovative mind and encourage experimentation to find new solutions\nThe ability to gain the confidence and trust of others easily\nWillingness to travel 30-40%, including international destinations to support customers.\nLocation\nWe are open to filling this position in multiple locations.
