This position plays a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable operation of power system equipment across the electric utility and industrial landscape.\nAs a Technician/Specialist, your daymay include:\nCommissioning and testing power equipmentincludingbreakers, transformers, switches, CTs, PTs, and other system apparatus.\n\nOperating industry-leading test equipment such as Doble, Megger, Vanguard, and Omicron systems for validation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.\n\nPerforming functional and operational testing onhigh-voltageapparatus.\n\nConducting detailed wiring verification to ensure proper installation and system integrity.\n\nWorking closely with customers, engineers, and internal teams to drive successful project outcomes.\n\nDocumenting test data and supporting equipment integration activities.\n\nTraveling to customer sites-up to 80%.\n\nYou’rea Strong Fit If You:\nBring 3-10 years of experience in apparatus testing or commissioning.\n\nCan confidently read and interpret one-lines, three-lines, wiring diagrams, and schematics.\n\nHave hands-on experience with equipment rated from 480V up to 765kV.\n\nKnow (or want to learn) test systems from Doble, Megger, Vanguard, and Omicron.\n\nHold an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related discipline.\n\nPossess-orare working toward-certifications such as OSHA, NETA, or NICET.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nComfortable working outdoors in varying climates.\n\nAble to stand, walk, bend, climb, squat, and use hands/arms for physical tasks.\n\nCapable oflifting upto 50lbsand handling tools/equipment as needed.\n\nAble to work at heights using lifts or ladders.\n\nWhy Plymouth, MI?\nPlymouth is a vibrant community located between Detroit and Ann Arbor.
