You will work directly with R&D, manufacturing, and support teams to improve the quality and reliability of products and product assembly.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPlan, design, and implement tests to monitor quality using engineering principles.\nAcquire and analyze data using standard quantitative methods to facilitate process analysis and improvements.\nPartner with stakeholders in understanding problems and investigating root cause.\nEnsure the implementation of effective solutions to prevent recurrence.\nInitiate and facilitate cross-functional meetings to address quality issues and brainstorm solutions.\nFacilitate internal/external audits and certification activities, as applicable.\n Required Qualifications\nB.S. degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience\nTypically, 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, process improvement, or data analytics\nStrong facilitation, organization, and communication skills\nStrong project management and problem-solving skills\nKnowledge of quality tools and process improvement techniques (FMEA, Six Sigma, PDCA, Lean Manufacturing (WCM), Control Charts, Histograms, Pareto)\nKnowledge of applicable industry standards\nStrong writing, documentation, and speaking skills\n Preferred Qualifications\nExperience using metrology and statistical methods including statistical control of processes (SCP)\nKnowledge of probability/reliability concepts\nASQ Certified Quality Engineer\nKnowledge of ISO 9001\nKnowledge of design, manufacturing, and service processes\nLocation:\nLewiston, ID - This position is located in Lewiston, ID where you'll enjoy an unmatched quality of life.
