Follow-up with vendors as needed. Work with Receiving and Warehouse to identify and correct missed material receipts or other errors.\nLiaison with QC department to address material QC issues with vendors, and follow through with disposition of material. This can include organizing rework, replacements, or issuing credit.\nManage new tool orders with vendors, to include but not limited to; placing new orders submitted through internal requisition, liaison between the vendor and engineering during the new tool process, identify incoming FAS and create internal request for QC using Work Flow Gen, respond back to vendor with approval or rejection and the steps that follow. Ensuring compliance with tariffs and duties on parts and tooling.\nResponsible for inbound overseas freight. Work with vendor and our freight forwarder to arrange for rate quotes, material pickups, mode of transit, and final delivery to Selux.\nResponsible for initiating freight claims.\nResponsible for placing vendor orders based on internal requisitions for parts and materials.\nWork closely with other departments, to include but not limited to; Production, Shipping, Customer Service, Accounting.\nOther responsibilities as required.\nQualifications\n2 - 4 years of administrative or purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.• Experience working with MRP• Experience with inbound freight rules/regulations both domestic and international preferred\nStrong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel\nWork under minimal supervision.
