Read on. \nAbout the Role\nSemafor is expanding across Asia to help decision-makers in the region and around the world make sense of the region’s rapidly shifting dynamics in trade, technology, finance, geopolitics and global power, in the primary theater where the new global economy is being built. \nWe want to connect the dots across this complex landscape, delivering rigorous, independent business journalism to the world’s most discerning readers and are looking for a talented journalist with deep knowledge of China and the Asia-Pacific region to help lead an expansion effort across digital platforms and live journalism. \nA seasoned leader with a track record of managing teams, the successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of the economic and financial forces transforming Asia - with a focus on how China is reshaping the region and the world. \nWe’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial attitude, a deep sense of their audience, sure feet and a clear voice to produce useful, revelatory, and fair coverage in an enormous and complex part of the world. This person will be charged with chronicling the forces shaping Asia including trade, technology, capital flows, energy, CEOs, power, politics, and policy.\nThe successful candidate will be well-sourced and eager to get scoops and deliver big interviews, while bringing a sophisticated perspective in delivering thought-provoking and insightful stories.
