We support Asia’s growing energy needs while advancing the shift to a lower-carbon future.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan and execute the scheduled, routine, PM & CM maintenance activities within schedule and cost and OEM improvement program and in compliance with regulatory and company's standards and requirements.\nGood knowledge and experience of electrical switching operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of MV/LV switch gears, HV/LV motors, 230KV SF6CB, 21 KV GCB, VFD’s MOVs, HVAC, overhead crane, battery charger & UPS, transformers, electrical protection systems, static frequency converter and static excitation system etc. \nInspect plant electrical equipment/condition as per SOP and report to Team Lead.\nConduct troubleshoot/ fault diagnosis/ failure analysis to determine cause of failure and report to Team Lead.\nDevelop Risk Assessment and mitigation measures for every Maintenance job in the plant\nApply for Permit to Work (PTW) as the Competent Person (CP) for every Maintenance work in the plant.\nAble to perform 230kV and 6.6kV switching operations as the Electrical Authorized Person (EAP).\nAble to perform isolation and de-isolation of high voltage (>1000 volts) equipment as the Electrical Authorized Person (EAP).\nSupervise contractors and liaise with other maintenance crafts and operations technicians to execute maintenance activities \nWithdraw and prepare spares from warehouse for job execution. \nMaintain strategic and inventory spares in the warehouse to ensure sufficient maintenance spares are available. \nPrepare daily updates on Maintenance activities for the day to all stakeholders (operations)\nSuccessful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided) \n\nQualifications & Experience\nDegree in Electrical Engineering\nPreferably minimum 3 years of experience in relevant Maintenance fields in a Power Plant or Petrochemical Industry \n\nOur Culture at Sembcorp\nAt Sembcorp, our culture is shaped by a strong set of shared behaviours that guide the way we work and uphold our commitment to driving the energy transition.\nWe foster an institution-first mindset, where the success of Sembcorp takes precedence over individual interests.
