When our customers need knowledge-based solutions for their valve requirements Genesis Systems is there to serve them in a professional and ethical manner.\nGenesis Systems is a subsidiary of FloWorks USA LP, which is a privately held company located in Houston, Texas\nJob Information:\nThis position serves as a key point of support for customers and the outside sales team throughout the order process, from product selection and proposals, through delivery and billing. The role assists with day-to-day valve and automation applications, enter & processing of customer and vendor orders, coordinating returns and credits, and tracking open orders to meet customer delivery needs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSales & availability related phone calls and emails, to and from Customers, OSS force & vendors\nAssemble and present Customer with detailed product data, documentation and drawings on request\nAssist customers & OSS with proper sizing & application of valves, actuators & accessories. \nAssemble and present Customer proposals in Excel and PDF\nFacilitate Customer returns and Customer credits\nAssist Materials personnel with vendor returns resulting from Customer returns & credit requests\nUpdate needs for Stock & OAN part numbers\nConfirm Customer POs match our offer regarding; quantity, need dates, pricing, delivery address, payment terms and tax status\nEnter Customer orders into enterprise systems\nEnter vendor POs into enterprise systems\nCreate internal documentation for production and assembly notes\nExpedite and track Customer & vendor orders towards Customer’s On-Time Delivery needs and a timely billing\nSecure hardcopy back-up work to the order documentation\nAdministrative emails with Shared Services Group regarding new Customer & Vendor account specifics, sales tax, late orders and billing issues\nOther sales support related tasks as needed\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial distribution is preferred\nExcel, Adobe, Word, Outlook, MS PC, calculators, enterprise systems interface\nProblem solving, math, professional level communication in English both written and verbal, time management skills, mechanical aptitude, basic physics, temperature, pressure, metallurgy, electricity, basic piping/valving knowledge\nPhysical Demands\nFrequently required to stand\nFrequently required to walk\nContinually required to sit\nContinually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity\nOccasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl\nContinually required to talk or hear\nContinually utilize visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboard\nOccasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds\nOccasionally work near moving mechanical parts\nOccasionally exposure to outside weather conditions\nOccasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment)\nWork Environment\nThis role operates in a professional office environment and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used.
