Responsibilities may include financial management, operational performance and analysis, planning and execution, distribution, fleet management, inventory management, vendor management, and leadership, including performance management. Not responsible for sales. Manage designated areas of Warehouse Operation, oversee functional areas, and perform manager’s duties as assigned. Responsible for consistent application of SOP’s (Standard Operating Policies) and associate administration in the facility.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTrains staff to ensure attainment of department performance goals\nManages and ensures successful achievement of performance goals of assigned functional areas\nControls warehouse expenses\nEnsures compliance with all personnel policies\nEnsures a safe working environment for all associates including surveying facility for repair and maintenance items, promoting and managing safety programs; ensuring policy adherence for worker’s compensation and general liability issues\nEnsures the Asset Protection and Hazmat programs are enforced\nOpens and closes the distribution center, authorizes refunds, and handles customer problems\nMay act as manager and performs other duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nTechnical certification or Associates degree may be required in some areas\nGenerally, 5 to 7 years of experience in related area of responsibility\nPhysical Demands\nFrequently required to stand\nFrequently required to walk\nContinually required to sit\nContinually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity\nOccasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl\nContinually required to talk or hear\nContinually utilize visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboard\nOccasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds\nOccasionally work near moving mechanical parts\nOccasionally exposure to outside weather conditions\nOccasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment)\nPhysical activity required including bending, reaching, lifting and prolonged periods of sitting or standing\nLong hours of computer-based work\nWorking a full day in a non-climate controlled warehouse setting\nWork Environment\nThis role operates in a professional office and warehouse environment.
