This position has no supervisory responsibilities.\nSome of the exciting things you will do in this role...\nResponsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, etc.\nPerform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves at Flotech facilities and client locations.\nFollow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all Quality Control and ASME National Board standards that apply to the job.\nThoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs. \nTravel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.\nCommunicate timely updates to management, co-workers and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.\nWorks closely with co-workers, management and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.\n Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.\nAssesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.\nBalances team and individual responsibilities; Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Gives and welcomes feedback; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Puts success of team above own interests; Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.\nDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.\nMeets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly.\nA nice to have...\nHigh School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years industrial valve repair experience, or equivalent number of years of education and experience. \nFamiliar with tools and machinery required to perform daily valve repair duties.\nExperience with repairing various valves and actuators, whether pneumatic, hydraulic or electric.\nValid Driver’s License.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
