Performing daily, weekly and monthly preventive maintenance tasks on facilities equipment. Responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of the building and its systems. This includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general facility support to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient environment for staff.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems.\nRespond to maintenance requests and troubleshooting issues in a timely manner.\nRepair or replace defective equipment, fixtures, and components.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to facility operations.\nMaintain HVAC systems, including filter changes and basic diagnostics.\nMaintain RO/DI system along with water filtration systems.\nEnsure that all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.\nConduct minor plumbing and electrical repairs.\nConduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards.\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.\nEnsure the facility is clean and organized.\nMaintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.\nCoordinate with external contractors and vendors when necessary.\nAssist with office moves, furniture setups, and general labor tasks.\nAssist with helping other staff members on large projects or when the department is short staffed\nProvide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of 2-4 years of experience in facility maintenance or a similar role.\nTechnical skills include proficiency in maintaining and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.\nStrong diagnostic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently\nEffective verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with staff and vendors.\nAbility to lift 50lbs and move heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.\nDesired Qualifications:\nTechnical certifications or an associate degree in facilities management, HVAC, or a related field is preferred\nRO/DI systems experience\nElectrical experience\nThe intent of this job description is to describe the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
