As the key point of contact for our Southern California locations, as well as all fully remote employees in the US, this role ensures we deliver day-to-day HR Activities, as well as customer-centric HR consultation and business partnering for employees and leaders. The Senior HR Business Partner is hands-on and responsible for all facets of an employee’s lifecycle.\nResponsibilities:\nPartner with business leaders, up to business unit GM, to understand business objectives and develop and/or implement HR strategies that support these goals\nDrive, recommend, and at times manage creative strategies to address retention, employee engagement and leadership development\nCollaborate closely with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Development & HR Technology) to design and implement integrated people solutions tailored to regional needs\nOwn the employee lifecycle, including new employee onboarding, induction, ongoing performance management, and exit processes\nManage the HR side of internal and external audits from Quality Management programs such as ISO 9001\nSupport and participate in ongoing global HR projects, processes, and programs\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree (MA/MBA is a plus) and 8+ years of progressive human resources experience in a manufacturing environment (hi-tech sector preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience\nExcellent knowledge of state and federal labor laws\nHR Certification is a plus\nPreferred experience working for a multinational/global organization\nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing\nAbility to work well independently and proactively\nMust be able to work flexible hours as needed to support a multi-shift manufacturing environment\nDemonstrated ability to build strong relationships across multiple levels and disciplines in the organization\nStrong focus on execution and high-quality output with strong attention to detail\nThe intent of this job description is to describe the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
