Through its acquisition of Sierra Wireless, Semtech powers the AirLink ecosystem - including ALMS (AirLink Management Services), a cloud-based platform that enables customers to remotely deploy, monitor, and manage AirLink routers and gateways at scale.\nResponsibilities:\nYou will contribute to the on-time delivery of stable, production-ready software for the ALMS platform.\nAnalyzing requirements and translating them into reliable software designs\nImplementing and testing features across the ALMS stack· \nIntegrating and configuring sub-systems within a cloud-native environment\nWriting clear documentation for the features you own.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nCurrently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (software focus)\nDesired Qualifications:\nJava and/or JavaScript application development\nLinux-based software development\nWeb application development\nCore AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda) and Docker containers\nTakes initiative, seeks out challenges, and manages risk pragmatically\nSelf-starter with strong communication skills\nCollaborative team player who takes pride in both team and personal accomplishments.\nThe intent of this job description is to describe the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
