You will be provided the opportunity to learn from both our Validation and Design teams working with the leading-edge test and measurement tools and technologies.\nOur approach to internship is to make the successful candidate an integral part of our team. The internship program is an important part of our recruiting strategy.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop data acquisition suites to support characterization of R&D prototypes\nDevelop new measurement analysis techniques and systems for checking device compliance to specification\nCreate associated software and hardware for prototype measurements\nDesign utilities to support IC verification and characterization and improve productivity\nActive member in product development teams\nThis position is for a 12 - 16-month student Validation internship at Semtech Canada with the Signal Integrity Products Group (SIP) in our Ottawa Design Centre.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nPython programming\nHardware and software debug skills\nData acquisition experience and automation of R&D laboratory equipment\nRF and high-speed digital (>10Gbps) measurement and debug skills\nFamiliarity with automated data collection and automation coding using Python\nKnowledge of optical and high-speed test equipment \nExcellent cross functional team and leadership skills\nGood Communication and organizational skills\nTeam player\nCustomer biased focus\nHighly motivated, goal driven, self-starter\nAbility to start an internship in May 2027\nCareer Growth Philosophy\nAt Semtech, we seek innovation and leadership from each and every member of our team.
