This role develops clear, accurate, and engaging product documentation and technical content that supports Sena's innovative products and brand communications.\nWorking under the strategic direction of the Marketing Manager, the Technical Writer applies technical understanding and independent editorial judgment to organize complex product information, determine appropriate content structure, and develop effective written communications across multiple channels.\nThe position requires the ability to transform complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive, and engaging stories that connect with consumers and communicate the unique value of Sena's products.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong technical writing and editing abilities with creativity, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate with Product Management and Engineering while supporting broader marketing objectives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProduct Documentation & Technical Storytelling\nTransform complex technical information, including Mesh intercom technology, Bluetooth connectivity, audio engineering, and product features, into clear, engaging, and consumer-focused narratives.\nDevelop creative product descriptions and benefit-driven messaging that communicate technical capabilities through compelling storytelling.\nCollaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy while maintaining originality, clarity, and audience appeal.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, product guides, and internal communication materials in collaboration with relevant teams.\nPublic Relations & Editorial Content\nDevelop original written content for press releases, product announcements, media communications, and corporate storytelling initiatives.\nIdentify compelling story angles and recommend creative approaches to communicate product innovations and company developments.\nAdapt messaging and editorial tone for different media audiences while maintaining consistency with Sena's brand identity.\nBrand Voice & Content Development\nApply and maintain Sena's established brand voice while developing original written expressions and creative messaging approaches.\nRecommend improvements to existing content to enhance clarity, engagement, originality, and communication effectiveness.\nExercise editorial judgment in refining language, storytelling techniques, and content presentation.\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Content Execution\nWork closely with the Marketing Manager, Design, Product Management, Engineering, and Digital Marketing teams to develop and execute creative content aligned with established marketing objectives.\nPresent original copy concepts, creative recommendations, and alternative messaging approaches for review and feedback.\nIndependently develop and refine assigned technical writing and content projects from initial draft through final delivery, subject to established guidelines and management approval.\nManage multiple content assignments and deadlines while maintaining creative quality and technical accuracy.\nWork Schedule & Flexibility\nThis position requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate collaboration and communication with the Korea-based team across different time zones.\nOccasional early morning or evening meetings may be required based on business needs.\nTeam Support\nPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support brand and team objectives.\nRequired Qualifications\n2-4 years of professional experience in creative copywriting, marketing communications, advertising, or brand storytelling.\nA strong portfolio demonstrating original creative writing, compelling marketing narratives, and distinctive brand or product messaging.\nDemonstrated ability to apply creativity, originality, and independent editorial judgment in developing written content.\nStrong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and consumer-focused communications.\nExcellent writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback while maintaining creative quality.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.\nBilingual proficiency in Korean and English is required.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience writing for consumer electronics, technology, powersports, cycling, or outdoor recreation industries.\nExperience developing original copy for integrated marketing campaigns, digital advertising, and product launches.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted writing and productivity tools to support research and content development while maintaining originality and independent creative judgment.\nCompany Overview:\nSENA is a global leader in innovative communication systems, offering advanced connectivity solutions for adventure enthusiasts and professionals.
