security controls including Defender Antivirus, ASR, BitLocker, removable-media restrictions, and network/web protection.\n\nMonitor Microsoft Secure Score and review security configurations across Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune.\n\nSupport Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Zero Trust principles.\n\nIdentify Monitoring & Incident Response: Detect, investigate, contain, and remediate Microsoft 365 security threats and incidents.\nMonitor Defender XDR alerts covering endpoint, identity, email, and cloud security events.\n\nInvestigate malicious emails, compromised endpoints, identities, and other security events.\n\nConduct proactive threat hunting and root-cause analysis using KQL and Advanced Hunting.\n\nCoordinate with the SOC and relevant technical teams on incident containment, remediation, and recovery.\n\nMaintain incident-response procedures and runbooks and recommend preventive actions based on incident findings.\n\n4\nSecurity Integration, Automation & Continuous Improvement: Improve security operations through system integration, automation, and enhancement of Microsoft 365 security controls.Support integration of Microsoft Defender with Microsoft Sentinel and other approved SIEM/SOC platforms.\n\nUse PowerShell to automate Microsoft 365 security-administration activities.\n\nSupport Microsoft Graph-based security administration and integrations.\n\nCoordinate with cross-functional IT teams to implement security controls and enhancements.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve security configurations, workflows, monitoring, and administrative efficiency.\n\n5\nSecurity Reporting & Documentation: Provide visibility of the Microsoft 365 security posture and maintain accurate operational and technical documentation.Prepare reports covering Defender incidents, endpoint security posture, Secure Score, DLP incidents, vulnerabilities, and policy violations.\n\nMaintain technical documentation, configuration standards, operational procedures, and security runbooks.\n\nDocument security changes, exceptions, incidents, and corrective
