We pride ourselves on our collaborative work environment and culture, which embraces our mission of providing financial and non-financial benefits back to the members of the Seneca Nation.\nWe are seeking a Report Developer to support a migration initiative moving reporting assets from SAP BusinessObjects (BO) to Qlik.\nThis role combines hands-on report development with the ability to debug, re-engineer, and optimize existing code as part of the transition.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze existing BusinessObjects reports, including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and universes, to understand data logic, calculations, and business rules.\nRedesign and rebuild reports in QlikView and/or Qlik Sense while preserving or improving original functionality.\nDebug and troubleshoot issues in legacy BusinessObjects reports and newly developed Qlik applications.\nRe-engineer inefficient or outdated code and logic, including SQL, scripts, and expressions, to align with Qlik best practices.\nValidate migrated reports against source BusinessObjects output to ensure data accuracy and parity.\nDocument migration mappings, logic changes, and known discrepancies.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and confirm report specifications.\nOptimize Qlik data models and load scripts for improved performance.\nRequired Skills and Experience\nProven experience developing and maintaining reports in SAP BusinessObjects, including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Universe Design.\nStrong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense and/or QlikView, including data modeling, set analysis, scripting, and expressions.\nSolid SQL skills for querying, troubleshooting, and data validation.\nDemonstrated ability to debug and re-engineer existing code and reports rather than building only from scratch.\nExperience with data migration or platform transition projects; business intelligence tool migration experience is strongly preferred.\nUnderstanding of ETL and data modeling concepts.\nStrong attention to detail when performing data validation and quality assurance.\nNice-to-Have Qualifications\nExperience with NPrinting or other Qlik reporting extensions.\nFamiliarity with scripting languages such as Python or VBScript for automation.\nPrior experience migrating BusinessObjects to Qlik or similar business intelligence platforms, such as BusinessObjects to Power BI or Tableau.\nKnowledge of relational databases, including Oracle and SQL Server.\nSoft Skills\nComfortable working independently in ambiguous, legacy-code environments.\nStrong communicator who can explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.\nDetail-oriented and methodical when performing validation and testing.\n\nEqual Opportunity Statement:\nSeneca Holdings provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex/gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, genetic information and/or predisposing genetic characteristics, victim of domestic violence status, veteran status, or other protected class status.
