In defence, we design and produce equipment and systems, including unmanned systems. Our passion for precision has made us a trusted partner of leading space agencies, government agencies and companies.\nWhat you will do:\nDevelopment of embedded SW for UAVs and space (avionics) applications:\nContribute to the different engineering activities along the complete life-cycle: requirements, design, integration and verification.\n\nDefinition and configuration of the development environment, from HW platform to the needed tools and resources.\n\nVerification of the complete SW components at different levels as required: from early prototyping activities to final usable models.\n\nGathering the requirements and needs to build up the required SW specifications as needed.\n\nDesigning the embedded code in different languages (C/C++ mainly) according to best practices and industry standards.\n\nConfiguration of the low level SW layers from Ifs protocols and HW drivers to OS (RTOS, Linux or others) and real time extensions.\n\nContribution to the planning and definition of integration and verification activities.\n\nParticipation in the definition of the development environment needs: HW platform (COTS or customized), tools and resources.\n\nTests cases preparation at the different verification levels (unitary, SW/SW integration, system integration) as required by the project.\n\nInteraction with customer for the related activities.\n\nCoordination with the different disciplines involved in the project: control, electronics, FPGA, project management…\n\nContribute to project documentation related to SW code development, including use and maintenance.\n\nContribute to internal know-how\n\nWhat we expect from you:\nDegree in Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics/Robotics, Telecommunications or Aerospace Engineering.\n\nMinimum 2 years experience as developing SW, preferably in C, C++ and/or Python.\n\nKnowledge on operative systems (RTOS, Linux…).\n\nGood understanding of HW platforms (processors, MPSoCs, peripheralas, Ifs and protocols).\n\nEligibility to obtain the required security clearances and work authorizations for projects within EU and NATO defence environments\n\nGood interpersonal skills, team player.\n\nInterest in related engineering fields: Electronics, FPGA, Control.\n\nFamiliar with IA tools and sensible use.\n\nProactive and good problem-solving capability\nCapable of presenting the outcomes of the work carried out in a clear way\n\nWhat we offer:\nThese are some of the benefits you will enjoy at Sener:\nJoin a multidisciplinary and highly qualified team participating in technologically innovative projects at an international level.\n\nContinue your professional development with us and access a wide range of training (technical training, skills, languages ...).\n\nTake care of yourself with our physical and emotional well-being program: sports, workshops, physiotherapy ...\n\nOptimize your salary with our flexible remuneration plan (meal card, private health insurance, daycare tickets, etc.) and have our life and accident insurance.\n\nMake the way you work more flexible!
