This role involves leading a team, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, optimizing production processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Production Planning & Execution\n-Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand and production capacity.\n-Ensure smooth execution of production plans while maintaining optimal resource utilization.\n-Coordinate with supply chain, quality, and maintenance teams to prevent delays.\n2. Process & Productivity Improvement\n-Implement lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and other productivity improvement initiatives.\n-Analyse production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.\n-Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and take measures to improve it.\n3. Quality Assurance\n-Ensure products to meet quality standards as per OEM requirements.\n-Coordinate with the Quality team to address defects and reduce rejection rates.\n-Implement mistake-proofing (Poka-Yoke) solutions in the assembly/manufacturing process.\n4. Team Leadership & Training\n-Lead and mentor production operators.\n-Conduct skill-gap analysis and arrange training programs.\n-Ensure discipline and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).\n5. Safety & Compliance\n-Ensure workplace safety by enforcing safety protocols and PPE usage.\n-Comply with IATF 16949, and other relevant standards.\n-Participate in audits and ensure statutory compliance.\n6. Reporting & Documentation\n-Maintain daily production reports and Analyse deviations from plan.\n-Report KPIs such as productivity, downtime, scrap rates, and delivery performance.\n-Support management in preparing weekly and monthly performance reviews.\n7. Technical Skills:\n-Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and equipment.\n-Proficiency in lean manufacturing, TPM, and 5S.\n-Exposure to SAP systems.\n8. Soft Skills:\n-Strong leadership and team management abilities.\n-Analytical and problem-solving skills.\n-Effective communication and coordination abilities.\n9. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)\n-Production volume vs. target\n-OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)\n-First Pass Yield (FPY) / Rejection rate\n-Adherence to delivery schedules\n-Safety incident rate\nB.
