We have established customers in aerospace (both civil and military), as well as in the nuclear, oil and gas, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.\n We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fitter to join our aerospace manufacturing team. Working in a fast-paced production environment, you will play a key role in manufacturing precision components and assemblies that meet the highest quality and safety standards required by the aerospace industry.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, manufacturing experience, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.\nKey Responsibilities\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, job cards, kitting lists, and work instructions to ensure products are manufactured to specification.\nUse a range of hand tools, machinery, and production equipment to cut, form, machine, shape, and size components.\nOperate specialist tooling and machinery to resistance weld and join materials in accordance with engineering requirements.\nCarry out in-process inspections and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.\nAccurately record measurements and complete job card documentation to confirm work has been completed to the required standard.\nMaintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and housekeeping within the production environment.\nWork collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and customer requirements.\n We are seeking a hands-on individual who has experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment and is comfortable using manufacturing jigs, fixtures, and assembly aids. You will be confident in operating production tooling, machinery, and a variety of hand tools, with previous experience gained in a fitting, assembly, fabrication, or production role.
