And we want you to be part of it.\n Job Summary\nThe Industrial Electrician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems in plant facilities and manufacturing equipment. Working with minimal supervision, this role supports daily production, performs preventive maintenance, and coordinates electrical work with outside contractors when needed.\nEssential Responsibilities\nMaintain a valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license.\nTroubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems in plant facilities and manufacturing equipment.\nComplete preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).\nPerform periodic welding power supply calibrations as directed by the Quality Control Calibration Department.\nCoordinate electrical repairs and preventive maintenance performed by outside contractors when needed.\nPurchase supplies needed for maintenance work using vendors approved by the Purchasing Department.\nAttend Maintenance Department project meetings and communicate with shop floor supervisors to address production issues promptly.\nDocument completed work and provide corrective and preventive maintenance records to the Facilities Manager.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nIdentify and report faulty equipment or unusual operating conditions.\nKeep work areas and equipment clean, safe, and orderly. Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nWork effectively with others and participate in continuous improvement activities.\nFollow all quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures, and attend training relevant to the role.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\n Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license.\nMore than five years of relevant experience.\nAdvanced trade knowledge, including the ability to use technical drawings, specifications, charts, formulas, and precision measuring instruments.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex equipment, use technical software, and work independently to solve unusual problems.\nPhysical Demands and Working Conditions\nThe role involves moderate physical activity, including occasional lifting or moving of materials in difficult positions. Work requires sustained attention to detail and may involve exposure to industrial conditions and electrical hazards.
