This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, develop their career, and gain exposure to a wide range of engineering disciplines within our business.\nWhether you're currently working in Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Quality, or another technical role, this position offers the chance to build your expertise in tooling design, CAD, problem-solving, and project delivery while working alongside experienced engineers who will support your development.\nAs a Junior Tooling Design Engineer, you will support the design, development, and continuous improvement of tooling, jigs, fixtures, and associated equipment used throughout our manufacturing, inspection, and testing processes.\nWorking as part of the Tooling Engineering team, you will contribute to both new product introduction projects and the optimisation of existing manufacturing processes. You will gain hands-on experience in tooling design while developing a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards, engineering best practice, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nThis role offers genuine development opportunities and exposure to cross-functional working with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Welding Engineering teams.\n We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual who is eager to develop their career within engineering and tooling design. This opportunity would suit someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively with others, and finding ways to improve processes and performance.\nThe successful candidate will have a good understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications, together with knowledge of tooling, jigs and fixtures within a manufacturing environment. Experience of working with CAD software and an appreciation of health and safety requirements are essential, along with a recognised engineering qualification at NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or Apprenticeship equivalent.\nJust as importantly, we are seeking someone who demonstrates the behaviours and potential to grow within the role.
