In this role, you'll be the technical focal point for manufacturing operations, translating design requirements into efficient production processes. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing methods, ensure product quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our manufacturing excellence while supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers.\nServe as the primary technical resource for assigned manufacturing projects, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and internal quality requirements\nDevelop and prepare comprehensive manufacturing documentation following Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) practices, including Visual Work Instructions (VWI) and Work Combination Sheets (WCS)\nPlan and design equipment, tooling, and cellular manufacturing concepts for assigned areas of responsibility\nValidate that manufacturing processes meet all customer and internal requirements while maintaining cost targets\nCreate clear and concise work instructions for detail parts\nPerform and document processes including machining, grinding, EDM, and Automation\nConduct Root Cause and Preventive Action (RCPA) analysis to eliminate causes of nonconforming products\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives through initial manufacturing cycle assistance and process validation\nIdentify, implement, and drive cost reduction ideas as part of multi-disciplinary improvement teams\nReview production drawings for technical content and make recommendations for credible solutions to product, tooling, and process challenges\nCoordinate and support tooling design as it applies to manufacturing and assembly processes\nProvide technical data and relevant information to support the quoting process\nCollaborate with suppliers to develop processes and resolve manufacturing issues\nEnsure all engineering changes are properly documented and implemented\nMaintain an organized, clean, and safe work area while adhering to all quality practices and safety standards\nPerform related duties as assigned and support organizational initiatives\n **Required Qualifications:**\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or minimum of 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience\nProficiency in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Visual Work Instructions (VWI) development\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing process planning, tooling design, and cellular manufacturing concepts\nExperience with Root Cause and Preventive Action (RCPA) methodologies\nSolid understanding of geometric tolerances and technical drawing interpretation\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-oriented environments\nProficiency with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing documentation systems\nKnowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement principles\n**Preferred Qualifications:**\nBackground in aerospace manufacturing or related industries\nFamiliarity with aerospace materials such as Titanium, Inconel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and tool steel\nExperience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies\nSwiss style CNC lathe experience\nProject management experience or certification\nSupplier process development and quality improvement experience\nExperience leading cross-functional manufacturing improvement teams\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nTrade Compliance Statement Access to our facilities is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to U.S. Persons (U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, U.S. Nationals, U.S. refugees, asylees, or temporary residents under amnesty provisions ), and to properly licensed foreign persons.
