The role involves inventory management, production scheduling support and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory costs.\nMaterial Planning and Control\nEnsure the timely availability of materials to support production schedules.\nMonitor inventory levels and maintain stock within approved minimum and maximum limits.\nReview material requirements planning (MRP) outputs and initiate procurement actions.\nInventory Management\nConduct regular cycle counts and support annual stocktakes.\nInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.\nMaintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems\nMonitor material usage, scrap, and obsolescence.\nImplement inventory reduction initiatives while avoiding production shortages.\nProduction Support\nLiaise closely with Production Planning, Manufacturing, and Warehouse teams.\nEnsure material availability for production orders and new product launches.\nMonitor material consumption against production schedules.\nCoordinate urgent material requirements to prevent line stoppages.\nManage the stores and line feeding activities to ensure product is available at the right place, on time\nLogistics and Warehouse Coordination\nCoordinate inbound material deliveries and receiving activities.\nSupport warehouse operations through proper stock control and storage practices.\nManage material movements between warehouse and production areas.\nEnsure FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices are followed.\nContinuous Improvement\nParticipate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.\nIdentify opportunities to improve material flow and reduce waste.\nSupport inventory optimization and cost-reduction projects.\nContribute to logistics and supply chain performance improvements.\nCompliance and Reporting\nEnsure compliance with company procedures, inventory controls, and automotive quality standards.\nGenerate and analyze inventory, material shortages, and supplier performance reports.\nSupport internal audits of the stores functions\nEnsure adherence to environmental, health, and safety requirements.\n 3-5 years of experience in material planning, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations.\nExperience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred.\nKnowledge of Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-In-Sequence (JIS) operations is advantageous.\nExperience working with OEMs or Tier 1 automotive suppliers preferred.\n Required Skills\nSoft Skills\nStrong organizational and planning
