We offer the opportunity to be a part of our team crafting these critical, technically challenging parts that are installed in facilities all over the world.\n This position provides design solutions from receipt of the customer’s purchase order through production, installation and final commissioning; both in new product design and existing product redesign.\nDesign Expansion Joints in compliance with 1. customer PO, drawings and specifications, 2. ASME code and/or EJMA Standards (Expansion Joint Manufacturer’s Association) and 3. SFP quote, estimate and standards.\nPropose changes in equipment, processes or use of materials and services which would result in cost reduction or improvement in expansion joint performance or operations.\nProvide technical services to customers regarding use, operation and maintenance of Expansion Joints.\nContact customer and customer representatives to resolve, discuss and explain requested changes and design features.\nPerform field inspections of expansion joints to evaluate condition and recommend repairs or replacement if needed.\n Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
