If you want to join a fast-growing team and help build the future of intelligent infrastructure, this is the place to do it.\nThe Role\nWe’re looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter, with experience hiring technical positions in the United States and Canada, to own full-cycle hiring for our most critical roles as we scale. You'll partner with our engineering team, specializing in identifying, engaging, and closing senior and staff-level software engineers in a competitive market for AI-forward talent.\nWe're looking for someone who is well versed in finding top talent, landing them with a well-crafted cold outreach message, building genuine rapport, and closing them against competing offers. If the search lights you up as much as the win does, you'll thrive here.\nThis is an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of becoming full-time.\nWhat you’ll do\nBuild and run proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage hard-to-find senior and staff developer talent, going well beyond inbound applicants.\nOwn full-cycle recruiting for senior and staff engineering roles, from intake through offer negotiation and close, partnering closely with engineering leadership at every stage.\nRepresent Senpilot's mission and culture compellingly to senior technical candidates in competitive talent markets\nTrack pipeline health and hiring metrics, using data to continuously refine sourcing and process.\nWhat you’ll bring\n5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with a strong track record hiring senior and staff-level software engineers.\nExperience recruiting inside a fast-growing company, comfortable operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities.\nHands-on experience sourcing and hiring EPD positions in the United States and Canada.\nGenuine fluency and enthusiasm for how AI is changing both software engineering and the recruiting function, and comfort using AI tools in your own workflow.\nProven ability to build and manage passive candidate pipelines through creative, proactive sourcing.\nStrong stakeholder management skills, able to partner with engineering leaders as a strategic advisor rather than an order-taker.\nSharp judgment for technical talent assessment, even without a deep engineering background yourself.\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills, particularly around structuring and closing competitive offers for senior candidates.\nA bias toward action and ownership, consistent with working on a small, high-performance team.\nWork Location\nWe Appreciate the flexibility of hybrid work, and we also value the energy that comes from being in the same room. If you're able to join us in person on those days, we'd love to hear from you.\nWhat is in for you\nThe estimated annual base salary range for this role in Canada is $100,000 CAD - $130,000 CAD.
