In this role, you will perform electrical testing on wire harnesses and cable assemblies, including hipot, continuity, and automated Cirris testing, to verify they meet engineering specifications, drawing requirements, and customer quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their manufacturing career to build hands-on experience in an aerospace production environment, working closely with technicians, quality, and engineering.\nWhat you’ll own:\nPerform continuity, hipot (dielectric withstand), and insulation resistance testing on wire harnesses and cable assemblies per work instructions, test procedures, and customer specifications.\nSet up, program, and operate Cirris test systems, including loading test programs, building or verifying test fixtures and adapter cables, and running automated tests.\nTroubleshoot failed harnesses (opens, shorts, miswires, intermittents) and work with production to identify and correct the root cause.\nRead and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, pin-out tables, and harness drawings to determine pass/fail criteria.\nUse multimeters and other electrical test equipment to verify and diagnose assemblies.\nAccurately record test data, results, and non-conformances in accordance with quality system requirements.\nIdentify and report defects, out-of-spec conditions, or process issues to supervisors and engineering.\nHelp maintain and track the calibration status of test equipment, and flag equipment that needs calibration or repair.\nProvide on-the-floor support to production technicians as needed.\nFollow all safety (including high-voltage safety), quality, and 5S/housekeeping standards.\nMaintain accurate documentation and traceability records in compliance with company and customer quality requirements.\nParticipate in continuous improvement efforts that support quality, safety, and throughput goals.\nWhat you’ll bring to the team:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\n1-3 years of experience in electrical testing in a manufacturing environment (internships, trade school, or military technical training considered).\nHands-on experience with hipot and continuity testing.\nExperience operating Cirris (or similar automated) cable and harness test equipment.\nAbility to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and harness drawings.\nWorking knowledge of multimeters and basic electrical concepts (voltage, resistance, insulation, shorts and opens).\nComfortable using a computer for data entry and documentation.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.\nGood communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.\nBonus points:\nExperience assembling wire harnesses (cutting, stripping, crimping, terminating, connector insertion, routing, and lacing).\nFamiliarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards.\nPrior experience in aerospace, defense, or another regulated manufacturing environment.\nCompensation: \nCompensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. \nHourly Range: $24.00- $30.00 \nThis is an onsite role at our facility in Redondo Beach, CA. \nBenefits: \nUnmatched opportunities to drive impact on a friendly and mission-driven team \nOwn a piece of the pie with equity participation! \nComprehensive medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability coverage \nFlexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Spending Account (DSA) for health-related expenses \n20 vacation days per year and 12 company holidays for rest and relaxation\na 401(k) plan to set yourself up for retirement\nChoose a record you love, and we’ll add it to our growing vinyl collection! \n$50/month DoorDash credit - lunch is on us! \nUp to $100/month reimbursement for gym memberships \nFully stocked kitchen with snacks and beverages \nRegular team-building events, lunches, and the occasional breakfast burrito! \nBright, open office with communal spaces for collaboration and free parking \nConveniently located near the metro, major freeways and local dining spots \nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
