The ideal candidate is comfortable working across analog, digital, and embedded domains and thrives in a hands on engineering environment.General Responsibilities\nCreates designs within inter-disciplinary teams to address complex product design and manufacturing challenges\nLeads feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs\nDevelops testing, engineering analysis, qualification testing, production launch\nResponsible for failure analysis investigations and engineering evaluations\nMaintains product documentation (drawings and specifications) and lessons learned; produce design reports, test reports, operating manuals and test procedures\nLeads a team that includes senior engineers/managers for the purpose of engaging with customers in soliciting product specifications requirements, schedule expectations and budget Experience / Qualifications\nA university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience\nMust be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands\nStrong communication skills; oral, written and presentation\nStrong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results\nStrong personal and professional ethical values and integrity\nHolds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards\nProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)\nStrong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers\nAdditional Preferred Qualifications\nDemonstrated experience in circuit board design (schematics, layout, component selection, DFM).\nHands-on experience with DSP, CPLD, and/or FPGA programming (VHDL/Verilog, embedded C, or equivalent).\nStrong background in power electronics and power conversion topologies.\nFamiliarity with simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar).\nUnderstanding of digital and analog circuit design fundamentals.\nAbility to interpret test data, troubleshoot complex systems, and drive design improvements.\nFamiliar with PWM, PLL, and PID control methodologies.\nundefined\nExperience with Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testbeds.\nExperience with IGBT devices and gating control.\nBackground in defense, aerospace, or ruggedized industrial power systems.\nFamiliarity with UL, CSA, IEEE, CE, and MIL-spec requirements.\n#LI-MY1\nBase Salary Range:\n$118,800.00 - $163,350.00At Sensata, our employees are the key to our success and growth.
