Participate in and organize meetings with internal team members or across functions. Define KPI and review performance of the team.General Responsibilities\nManage day-to-day manufacturing operations including activities of quality management and production scheduling, people management.\nEnsure the total manufacturing objectives including output, quality requirements and OTD are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.\nDrive continuous improvement in quality, productivity, material usage reduction. Drive cost reduction projects.\nApply lean manufacturing practices, control work-in-progress inventory and drive cycle time reduction.\nImplements and ensures conformance to all safety practices.\nCoordinate with other functions to ensure production activities go smoothly.\nTrain, develop, coach and follow-up on teaming programs like SMWT / TPM / 5S activities, Lean manufacturing, VSM, and OEE.\nSupport Manufacturing Manager in staffing model including hiring, training and multi-skill development. Experience / Qualifications • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. • Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members • Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers\nBachelor degree or above.\nStrong knowledge and good exposure in high volume manufacturing processes with minimum of 3 years working experience, with over 2 or more years of management experience with direct reports.\nProven record in improving manufacturing cycle time, WIP management/reduction.\nExperience in people certification process. Knowledge of Quality systems and strong safety awareness.\nProven good interpersonal and motivation skills. A team player and developer. Effective communication skills at all levels.\nAbility in planning and organization. Willing to take on challenges.
