This process includes design, product validation, completing documentation and executing launch items for production. Complete all related drawings, documentation and release in internal systems.General Responsibilities\nAssists with static, dynamic design, and analysis of electro-mechanical components\nPerforms design verification on original and/or derivative design by collecting empirical data through experimental methods. Manipulate and synthesize the data to make design recommendations based off of the testing\nParticipates in feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. Work closely with support personnel (technicians and drafting teams) in the preparation of detailed technology selection, conceptual design, detail design and prototyping\nCoordinates failure analysis investigations and engineering evaluations\nHas a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, mechanics, fluid, thermo and heat transfer\nExperience / Qualifications\nA university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience\nMust be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands\nStrong communication skills; oral, written and presentation\nStrong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results\nStrong personal and professional ethical values and integrity\nHolds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards\nProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)\nStrong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers\nBase Salary Range:\n$69,920.00 - $96,140.00At Sensata, our employees are the key to our success and growth.
