This role partners with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to improve capacity, manufacturing flow, delivery performance, inventory management, and overall operational execution within a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.The successful candidate will lead cross-functional initiatives, develop structured action plans, drive accountability, and implement sustainable solutions that improve operational performance and support business growth.\nGeneral Responsibilities\nAdvises on the implementation and maintenance of methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies\nCollaborates with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products\nEstimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines\nLeads records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations\nPlans and designs manufacturing processes in an industrial plant\nAdvises on the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations such as machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly, and material handling Experience / Qualifications\nA university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.\nMust be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands\nStrong communication skills; oral, written and presentation\nStrong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results\nStrong personal and professional ethical values and integrity\nHolds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards\nProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)\nStrong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers\nExperience leading operational excellence, manufacturing transformation, or continuous improvement initiatives in Aerospace & Defense or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.\nExperience supporting low-volume, high-mix manufacturing operations.\nDemonstrated success improving throughput, lead times, inventory performance, capacity utilization, and delivery execution.\nExperience leading manufacturing integration efforts, production line expansions, or operational scaling initiatives.\nWorking knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Toyota Production System (TPS), Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Standard Work, A3 Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, and Theory of Constraints.\nExperience improving material flow, inventory management, production planning, and demand-driven manufacturing processes.\nProven ability to lead cross-functional projects, establish action plans, drive accountability, and deliver results through influence.\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent operational excellence certification preferred.\nBase Salary Range:\n$120,080.00 - $165,110.00At Sensata, our employees are the key to our success and growth.
