Working closely with Quality, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality teams, this position performs dimensional inspections, metrology measurements, and technical evaluations to verify conformance to engineering specifications and customer requirements. The role offers the opportunity to work with advanced measurement technologies, including CMM systems and precision inspection equipment, while supporting product quality, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.General Responsibilities\nReading and understanding of technical drawings and dimensions /\nspecifications;\nAssist Metrology engineer with measurements and CMM programing;\nWork experience with manual measurement tools;\nWork experience with CMM;\nWork experience with roughness and profile meters;\nUnderstanding of tolerance standards;\nSupports PPAP measurements;\nSupports preparation and implementation of Incoming quality control plans;\nControls non-conforming materials and supplier rejections;\nSupports with calibration plans of measurement equipment. Experience / Qualifications • Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role; • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands; • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results; • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards; • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).\nTechnical Skills & Experience\nExperience in quality control, inspection, metrology, manufacturing quality, or a related technical field.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and technical specifications.\nExperience using precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.\nFamiliarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and measurement software is highly desirable.\nUnderstanding of dimensional tolerances, inspection methods, and quality standards.\nExperience supporting first article inspections, PPAP activities, or incoming quality inspections is an advantage.\nBasic knowledge of calibration processes and measurement system control.\nAbility to investigate non-conforming materials and document inspection findings accurately.\nPreferred Qualifications\nTechnical degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Metrology, or a related discipline.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other manufacturing quality systems would be beneficial.\nExperience working within a manufacturing or automotive environment is preferred.\nThis role provides hands-on exposure to advanced metrology technologies and offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in quality systems, dimensional inspection, and manufacturing excellence within a global engineering environment.\nGross Annual Salary Range:\n13,866.00 EUR - 19,066.30 EURThe salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.\nStarting Salary\nThe starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.).
