Supply Chain) builds and deploys AI solutions for Sensata's operations, starting with Supply Chain and extending to Procurement, Quality and Engineering. The role turns priority use cases into production applications, such as agents, copilots and model-driven tools, that planners, buyers and engineers use every day. These are connected to Sensata's ERP, planning and manufacturing systems. The role also supports enterprise AI engineering needs as priorities arise.General Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and deploy production models, services, and pipelines that are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.\nPartner with data science, product, data engineering, and platform teams to translate business problems into technical solutions.\nBuild and optimize model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining workflows.\nImprove model performance, latency, cost efficiency, reliability, and explainability in production environments.\nDevelop reusable infrastructure, tooling, libraries, and patterns that accelerate team delivery.\nMonitor deployed models for performance degradation, bias, drift, and operational issues; recommend and implement corrective actions.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to communicate technical trade-offs, risks, timelines, and recommendations clearly.\nMentor engineers and contribute to technical standards, best practices, and architecture decisions.\nStay current with advances in practices.\nExperience / Qualifications\nA university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.\nMust be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands\nStrong communication skills; oral, written and presentation\nStrong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results\nStrong personal and professional ethical values and integrity\nHolds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards\nProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)\nStrong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nBuild and ship AI applications for operations use cases, from prototype through production and business adoption.\nBuild agents, copilots and RAG solutions for planning, procurement, quality, and engineering workflows.\nConnect AI solutions to ERP, planning, EDI and manufacturing data and systems, as well as to third-party platforms.\nTurn AI models into apps, agents, and workflows built into how teams work.\nDeliver on the enterprise AI platform using the Dev/Test/Prod, CI/CD and MLOps/LLMOps standards set by the AI Architect and Platform team.\nDefine testing and evaluation criteria for each solution, and track adoption and business impact with process owners.\nWork directly with planners, buyers and plant teams across regions to understand workflows and drive adoption.\nAdditional Qualifications:\n5+ years of software engineering, including shipping AI/ML or GenAI applications to production.\nStrong Python, APIs and system integration skills, plus hands-on experience with LLMs, agents and RAG.\nExperience working with ERP (e.g., SAP or Oracle), planning, EDI or MES data.\nAzure (AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI) preferred; Copilot Studio or Power Platform a plus.\nExperience in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, product engineering, quality, or industrial operations preferred.\nComfortable working across time zones with global business and technical teams.\nProfessional proficiency in spoken and written English.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.\nBase Salary Range:\n$115,620.00 - $158,983.00\nAt Sensata, our employees are the key to our success and growth.
