Due to this growth we are adding a Fork Lift Operator (9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday) to our team and play an essential role in coordinate the movement of product throughout the facility to provide a consistent flow of materials.\nWhat You’ll do:\nLoad / unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers. You will also maintain and manage inventory to ensure maximum storage capacity; handle emergency material requests; load and unload docks; manage disposal inventory; and act as forklift driver for Shipping and Receiving. \nEnter, maintain and update computer inventory records so real-time accurate inventory is available. Manage and maintain inventory in accordance with all housekeeping and stock maintenance guidelines while achieving and maintaining inventory accuracy of 95% or higher.\nBe responsible for inventory, rotation and inspection of freight held in the warehouse. Label shipments and product.\nComplete required documentation, prepare shipments and boxes for shipping.\nClosely work with Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations Supervisor and Warehouse Operations Manager to become experienced in all warehouse responsibilities and ensure that all warehouse procedures are followed in all areas according to ISO9001 and safety standards.\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nHigh School diploma or G.E.D., with prior warehouse operations and inventory management experience. (AS400 operation desirable).\n3-5 years of inventory operations and forklift (Reach/Stand/Sit) experience required.\nAbility to work overtime any day up to and including Saturday/Sunday as required. \nExcellent communication (written and verbal) and math skills.\nThe ability to Label, weigh, and dimension freight and record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.\nWhat You’ll Get:\nExcellent pay and benefits from day one.\nSafe environment to work in and support from management team.\nA thorough and effective training experience during onboarding and beyond.\nUniforms and safety equipment furnished by the company including hairnets, beard covers, dust masks, lifting belts and respirators as needed.\nThe salary for this position is $23.99/hr.
