You will take ownership of key accounting workflows, from managing complex payroll runs and debtor relations to ensuring a seamless financial reporting flow with our parent company, ABB, and internal department heads.\nKey Responsibilities\nCore Responsibilities:\nDunning & Debt Management: Take ownership of the accounts receivable process, which includes proactively calling debtors, resolving payment delays, and minimizing outstanding balances.\n\nPayroll & Bonus Calculations: Execute accurate and timely payroll processing, including the calculation of complex bonus structures and commissions for our growing team.\n\nReconciliations: Perform regular and thorough bank, ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain total data integrity.\n\nSales Factor / Input: Manage the accurate input and tracking of sales factor data. Collaborate with HR and communicate with Revenue operations.\n\nFinancial Accounting & Reporting: Take responsibility for the accounting & reporting of the foreign subsidiaries (Spain & Germany).\n\nProjects: Ad hoc improvement projects.\n\nGeneral Accounting Responsibilities:\nMonth-End & Year-End Close: Lead or assist in the timely execution of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.\n\nFinancial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate financial statements, P&L reports, and variance analyses to support data-driven business decisions.\n\nCompliance: Ensuring full compliance with Dutch tax laws and accounting standards (Dutch GAAP / IFRS / USGAAP).\n\nProcess Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to automate accounting workflows, implement best practices, and strengthen internal financial controls.\n\nRequirements & Qualifications\nExperience: 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\n\nKnowledge: Strong understanding of local accounting principles (Dutch GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS).\n\nTechnical Skills: Proficiency in modern ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel skills.\n\nLanguage: Fluency in English is required;
