We're hiring to build the best infrastructure to replace multi-channel messaging stacks.\nThe Role\nWe're hiring a Developer advocate to be the technical voice of Sent among developers. The job is to produce a steady stream of technical content, code, demos, posts, videos, talks, and to engage with developers where they actually hang out: Hacker News, X, Reddit, Discord servers, GitHub.\nYou'll write the tutorial that ranks for \"how to send WhatsApp from Node.js.\" You'll attend events, conferences, hackathons, and host some in-house. You'll build the demo that gets passed around in a Slack channel. You'll be in the comments when someone asks how Sent compares to Twilio, and you'll have a useful answer ready.\nWhat you'll do\nPublish technical content on a regular cadence: tutorials, comparison posts, deep dives, working demos, sample apps\n\nMaintain a strong personal presence on X, YouTube, Linkedin, other dev media channels, building an audience of developers who care about messaging infrastructure\n\nShow up at developer conferences and meetups, sometimes speaking, sometimes running a booth, sometimes both\n\nHost and co-host events and strategic hackathons, embedding Sent in the dev ecosystem\n\nOwn the SDK and quickstart developer experience end to end, and feed friction back to engineering\n\nRun office hours, livestreams, or whatever format works to get builders engaged with the product\n\nWhat you bring\nAt least 4 years working as a developer, with at least 1-2 of those years in DevRel, developer marketing, or as a public-facing technical IC\n\nYou ship code. You can build a working integration in a weekend and write up how you did it on Monday\n\nA real portfolio of public technical content: blog posts, repos, talks, videos, or a following you've built yourself\n\nStrong writing.
