This role will focus on building scalable data pipelines, supporting a metadata-driven ingestion framework, and ensuring data quality and governance are embedded into the platform.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain data pipelines using PySpark and Databricks\nWork within a metadata-driven ingestion framework to onboard new datasets\nImplement data quality checks and validation rules within pipelines\nSupport ingestion from file-based sources and ingestion tools (e.g., Fivetran)\nHandle schema changes, incremental loads, and file processing patterns\nContribute to data governance practices including tagging, metadata, and lineage\nTroubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures and performance issues\nCollaborate with architects and stakeholders on data onboarding and requirements\nFollow and contribute to coding standards, reusable components, and best practices\nEducation\nExperience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree\n3+ years of relevant experience with a degree \n5+ years of relevant experience without a degree \nCertification/Licensure\nNo specific certification or licensure requirements\nExperience\nRequired to 3 to 5 years of relevant experience\nHands-on experience with PySpark and Databricks\nStrong SQL skills\nExperience building ETL/ELT data pipelines\nUnderstanding of Delta Lake concepts (merge, schema evolution, partitions)\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)\nBasic experience with Git and version control\nExposure to data catalog or governance tools (e.g., DataHub)\nExperience with Fivetran or similar ingestion tools\nUnderstanding of data quality and validation concepts\nExperience working with metadata-driven frameworks\nStrong problem-solving and debugging skills\nAbility to work in a structured, framework-driven environment\nFocus on data quality, not just pipeline execution\nWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-evolving data ecosystem\nWe provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is: $80,204.80 - $133,681.60.
