You’ll own key parts of the stack from start to finish. You’ll work independently within the team’s roadmap and be a go-to resource for teammates.\nWe’re looking for someone with hands-on Kubernetes and observability experience who enjoys running high-volume systems for collecting, storing and analyzing telemetry data in production. Your work will give engineering teams better visibility into their systems and help them ship faster and more safely.\nWhat Will You Do?\nPrimary responsibilities include:\nDesign and build scalable, resilient parts of our telemetry platform (Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos/Mimir/Cortex, OpenTelemetry) so SentinelOne engineers can deploy and monitor features quickly and safely.\nOwn small-to-medium features from requirements refinement and technical design through to production rollout.\nWork with the engineering teams that use the platform to understand their needs, refine requirements, and flag work that is underspecified.\nWork across large-scale Kubernetes environments (EKS, GKE) on AWS and GCP.\nKeep the services you own reliable and cost-efficient, for example by right-sizing cloud resources and tuning telemetry volume.\nAutomate repetitive operational work to reduce toil and pager load.\nManage infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) and follow security, compliance, and change-management procedures in production.\nTake part in on-call: troubleshoot complex production issues, improve runbooks and dashboards, lead postmortems, and see corrective actions (CATs) through.\nReview peers' code and designs and give clear, constructive feedback.\nMentor teammates and share knowledge through docs, demos, and internal talks.\nWhat Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?\nIdeal candidates will have:\n5 or more years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related systems-focused field.\nHands-on experience running observability stacks in production: Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos (or Mimir/Cortex), and OpenTelemetry.\nProduction experience with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE) and tools such as Helm and Kustomize, and experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS or GCP).\nProficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools, specifically Terraform and Ansible.\nExperience keeping large-scale SaaS or distributed systems reliable, including on-call and incident response.\nHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and common deployment strategies (rolling, blue-green, canary).\nProficiency in Go or another mainstream language (e.g., Python).\nFamiliarity with on-premises, hybrid, or air-gapped Kubernetes deployments is preferred.\nExperience with GitHub Actions specifically, or with progressive delivery tools (e.g., Argo CD, Argo Rollouts, Flagger) is preferred.\nExperience reducing telemetry costs, for example through cardinality management or retention tuning, is preferred.\nWhy SentinelOne?\nAI is redefining how the world operates and rewriting the rules of security in real time, and SentinelOne was built for this moment.
