The Area General Manager will oversee multiple communities including their home community and several community general managers to ensure the success of achieving NOI results and Operations OKRs. This position reports to the VP, Operations.\nThis is an in-person position located on-site of multiple properties. Travel between two locations is required.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nOversee multiple Sentral communities - serve as the General Manager of their “home” community and have oversight of an additional 2 or 3 communities (number of communities subject to change at any time).\nDirect and lead portfolio's on-site team members and by implementing the policies, procedures, and practices, which enable each community to meet and exceed budgeted financial goals and achieve operational performance objectives.\nProvide strategy and leadership to multiple community management teams in an assigned region.\nCreate an executive management plan for the market and drive the revenue and expense goals for the community.\nContribute to the establishment and refinement of work quality, cultural initiatives, and best practices to drive results as a team.\nManage client relationships will allow for seamless conflict resolution, account maintenance, and overall development of client relationships\nAnalyze property financial performance as it relates to other portfolio assets.\nReview the annual budget as submitted by the General Manager, and provide feedback and commentary before submission to ownership.\nAssure compliance with all regulatory and statutory programs.\nReview revenue, expenses, staffing levels, guest reviews and implement critical action plans as needed.\nPerform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned.\nSkills and Experience\nBachelor's degree required, preferably in business or hotel administration.\n7+ years related work experience in operations preferably in the hospitality and multi-family industry.\nExcellent interpersonal and leadership skills to guide and motivate teams\nMust have strong resolution skills and work well cross-functionally, able to identify solutions and think outside of the box.\nBudgeting, forecasting, planning, sales development, and other related business management skills are essential. \nStrong leadership skills must have demonstrated ability to lead multiple communities.\nWorking with exceptionally talented people who are extremely enthusiastic about their craft.\nAbility to maintain a motivating, positive work environment that holds team members accountable for the results.\nExcellent communication skills - oral and written.\nExcellent PC skills: proficiency in all MS applications\nCommunity Team Perks + Benefits\nHealth & Wellness: We offer multiple medical, dental, and vision health plan options that begin the first month after your start date!
