The Comfort Advisor/Sales Representative position will consist of analyzing customer needs for HVAC equipment, create a sales proposal, finalize the sale and follow up with each customer to ensure complete satisfaction.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:\nProvide customers with solutions for their HVAC and other home comfort needs\nConsult with potential and existing customers to provide a customized HVAC system solution including our exclusive maintenance program\nServe as the leader of the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction\nConduct post-sale follow-up to ensure all sales agreements have been fulfilled to customer satisfaction\nFollow-up with existing sales bids and leads to offer any additional information as needed to convert them into sales\nOvercome technical and business objections of prospective customers\nEmphasize salable features, quotes, prices and credit terms and prepare sales orders for jobs sold\nBuild and maintain customer relationships\nParticipate in various sales activities to support corporate efforts including, but not limited to, trade shows, referral groups, etc.\nMust be willing and able to work evenings and weekends\n3-5 years HVAC air conditioning experience required\nTravel to homes and businesses daily as scheduled\nTroubleshooting the electrical systems in the AC and diagnostic repairs\nFamiliar with new equipment, and high-end communicating systems.\nConducting maintenance, and repairs on air conditioning (HVAC) systems.\nDiagnose system issues, make recommendations for repairs or replacements, and ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.\nRepair and diagnose HVAC systems with excellent troubleshooting skills ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.\nTroubleshoot electrical systems and air conditioning units, utilizing schematics and mechanical knowledge.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required\nAssociate degree (two-year college or technical school) preferred\nAt least 5 years of previous sales experience\nPrior in-home Residential HVAC Sales\nValid Driver’s License\nWhy Elmers Home Services?\nAt Elmer's Home Services we empower our team to thrive and make a real difference in the communities we serve.
