SEON relies on a product-led growth approach.\nOur Customer Platform Team is the heart of SEON: we develop core services supporting the whole system of SEON and the primary customer-facing application. We’re continuously adding new features to improve the UX and workflow for our customers and their fraud analysis capabilities. This mission involves core product functions such as backend and frontend development, R&D, design, and database development.\nThis role offers flexibility and is based in our Budapest office with a hybrid work schedule.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nContribute to our Customer Platform team, which is growing to be an essential part of our fraud prevention solution\n\nDeliver high-quality NodeJS, TypeScript and React code with simplicity, performance, and scalability in mind\n\nWork together with the team to design and implement cutting-edge client and database-related application features\n\nMaintain & develop in NodeJS, TypeScript, React, NestJS, REST, RDBMS & backend of our applications\n\nSupporting, refining and suggesting improvements to the current codebase\n\nProviding expertise, reviewing pull requests of other team members suggesting improvements and best practices for the team\n\nHelp during the whole Software Development Life Cycle including the design of new features and services\n\nBring an engineering mindset, you care about how things work, how they scale, and how they can be improved over time\n\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING:\nAt least 4 + years experience in fullstack software engineering (NodeJS, TypeScript, React, REST, RDBMS, NOSQL)\n\nAgile & iterative mindset (end-to-end responsibility; you build it, you run it)\n\nEnd to end ownership from product requirements, planning, implementation and rollout.\n\nStrong experience in automated tests\n\nStrong experience in performance optimization\n\nKnowledge & understanding of IT security\n\nExperience in designing modular systems and refactoring / decoupling monoliths, working with microservices\n\nFamiliarity with event-driven architecture\n\nExperience in containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes\n\nExperience in continuous integration and delivery\n\nExperience working in self organizing cross-functional teams\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills\n\nExperience in mentoring senior and mid-weight colleagues\n\nEnglish Language Proficiency\n\nExperience in pair programming, TDD and Trunk Based Development (pro)\n\nExperience in AWS (pro)\n\nAMAZING IF YOU ALSO HAVE:\nHands on experience with Clickhouse\n\nHands on experience with NoSQL\n\nSEON Technologies collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
