You will define how our autonomy kit - compute, sensors, actuators, and control units - integrates electrically with the base vehicle, and set the electrical design standards. Our vehicles operate in outdoor industrial environments such as port container terminals and airport airside areas.\nKey Responsibilities\nElectrical architecture & design\nOwn the vehicle-level electrical architecture: power distribution, grounding and bonding, shielding, and circuit protection.\nTranslate system architecture and written requirements into electrical designs, and maintain traceability from requirement → schematic → harness → test.\nDefine the electrical interfaces between the autonomy kit and the base vehicle, and own the schematics, wiring diagrams, interface control documents (ICDs), and harness drawings that govern them.\nDesign onboard communication networks (CAN / CAN-FD / Automotive Ethernet), including topology, termination, and shielding.\nDesign safety-related circuits - emergency-stop chains, interlocks, and fail-safe behavior.\nSelect and qualify wire, connectors, terminals, relays, and protection devices against the temperature, vibration, and ingress requirements of outdoor deployment.\nAnalysis, integration & debug\nBuild, rework, and validate prototype harnesses and wiring; iterate designs from prototype through validation to production.\nLead electrical integration and bring-up on prototype and production vehicles, and drive root-cause analysis of vehicle-level electrical and communication issues.\nEstablish electrical inspection and test procedures.\nLifecycle & collaboration\nOwn your designs across the full product lifecycle - concept, prototype, validation, deployment, and field sustainment.\nIntroduce and maintain electrical design standards and design-review processes.\nSupport prototype builds, vehicle testing, and field deployment alongside the embedded-hardware, firmware, mechanical, and vehicle-engineering teams, including travel to customer sites.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n5+ years of experience in vehicle electrical systems - automotive, commercial vehicle, off-highway/industrial machinery, or robotic mobile platforms.\nDemonstrated ownership of an electrical architecture from concept through vehicle integration and validation.\nDeep knowledge of power distribution, grounding and bonding, shielding, circuit protection, and electrical interface design.\nProven ability to work from a system architecture and written requirements, and to keep designs traceable to them.\nHands-on harness design and prototyping: wiring diagrams, harness specifications, connector/terminal selection, and physical build and rework.\nAbility to analyze or reverse-engineer an existing vehicle electrical system and document it accurately.\nVehicle-side troubleshooting with oscilloscope, multimeter, current probe, and CAN bus analyzer (e.g., CANoe / CANalyzer).\nWillingness to work on vehicles in the field, including travel to customer sites.\nPreferred Qualifications\n Prior OEM or Tier-1 experience on automotive, commercial-vehicle, off-highway, ground-support-equipment (GSE), or special-purpose vehicle platforms.\nExperience taking a vehicle program from prototype through volume production - design-for-manufacture and supplier/part qualification.\nKnowledge of EMC, ESD, and electrical-transient requirements; environmental standards such as ISO 16750, ISO 7637, and IP ingress ratings.\nFunctional safety practice - ISO 26262, ISO 13849, or IEC 61508.\nECU- and MCU-based embedded hardware familiarity.\nHigh-voltage / battery-electric powertrain platform experience.\nExperience introducing electrical design standards and review processes to a team.\nRecruitment Process\nApplication Review - Hiring Manager Review - Tech Interview - CEO Interview - Reference Check - Offer \n(Please be aware that the recruitment processes & schedules may be changed depending on the job and/or other circumstances)\nBenefits\n▷ Diversity - International team (10+ nationalities)\n▷ Flexible work hours \n▷ Hybrid work \n▷ 10 days of paid sick leave\n▷ Daily meal support\n▷ No dress code\n▷ Premium health check (Once a year)\n▷ Snacks and premium coffee\nSeoul Robotics stands for an open and respectful corporate culture because we believe diversity helps us to find new perspectives.\nSeoul Robotics ensures that all our members have equal opportunities - regardless of age, ethnic origin and nationality, gender and gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion and belief, sexual orientation, and social background.
