This role involves supporting clinical trial workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and performing high-complexity testing in a CLIA-certified environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular diagnostics and a passion for advancing clinical research.\nKey Responsibilities:\nConduct high-complexity molecular testing, including NGS-based assays, in compliance with CLIA/CAP regulations.\nPerform sample QC and library QC.\nPrepare sequencing libraries using established protocols.\nOperate and maintain Illumina sequencers.\nReview and validate clinical data and laboratory results for accuracy and completeness.\nCollaborate with clinical trial sponsors and internal teams to ensure protocol adherence.\nMaintain detailed documentation and contribute to regulatory submissions.\nAssist in the development and validation of new clinical assays.\nParticipate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.\nResponsible for maintaining updated understanding and knowledge of methods performed in the lab\nFollows GLP (good laboratory practice): maintain clean and organized work space\nParticipates in the updating of departmental standard operating procedures to accurately reflect the current practices.\nPerforms quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of clinical data (if applicable)\nAssists teammates in completing daily tasks\nQualifications:\nValid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, or related field.\n2+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory or clinical research setting.\nFamiliarity with NGS workflows and clinical assay validation preferred.\nStrong understanding of CLIA/CAP regulations and GCP guidelines.\nExcellent communication and organizational skills.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the
