As one of our first designers, you’ll work closely with product, engineering, and founders to design intuitive, AI-native workflows for billing, invoicing, and receivables.\nYou’ll thrive here if you love operating in ambiguity, exploring new interaction models, and making AI agents feel both powerful and trustworthy.\nYou’ll be part of a small, high-leverage team where your design decisions have immediate product and customer impact.\nWhat you’ll do\nDesign AI-first product experiences across billing, invoicing, collections, and finance agent workflows\n\nPartner with PMs and engineers from discovery through shipping to bring new concepts to life\n\nExplore how agentic AI workflows should behave. What they do automatically, when they ask for input, how they explain their reasoning\n\nMove fluidly between broad concepts and tactical deliverables: from sketching a new finance copilot experience to refining a critical interaction for invoice approval\n\nPrototype rapidly, testing ideas with internal stakeholders and customers\n\nContribute to design reviews and help build a strong design culture at Sequence\n\nThis may be a good fit if\nYou’ve shipped B2B products, ideally in finance, b2b or workflow-heavy domains\n\nYou’re comfortable in an early-stage environment and excited to help shape both product and process\n\nYou’re interested in AI tools (such as Cursor, Midjourney, Figma Make, Claude Artifacts, etc.) and curious about designing with and for AI\n\nYou embrace ambiguity
