Responsibilities:

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Siemens Opcenter MOM and Ignition SCADA applications.
Monitor manufacturing application performance and proactively identify issues before they impact production.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, interface, and data-related incidents within established SLA targets.
Analyze recurring issues and participate in root cause analysis activities.
Maintain incident, problem, and change records within the IT service management platform.
Configure and maintain master data, workflows, production models, and application settings.
Assist with application deployments, upgrades, patches, and testing activities.
Develop and modify HMI screens, reports, dashboards, alarms, and historian configurations.
Support shop-floor data collection, visualization, and reporting requirements for manufacturing operations.
Ensure changes are properly documented, tested, validated, and approved.
Identify opportunities to improve application stability, reliability, and operational efficiency, and participate in Kaizen initiatives.
Recommend automation opportunities that reduce manual activities and improve support processes.
Develop and maintain support documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge articles.

Your Profile (Requirements)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
3-5 years of application support experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience supporting MES/MOM, SCADA, or other manufacturing applications.
Experience with production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Experience working within 24/7 manufacturing operations.
Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution / MOM and Ignition SCADA (Gateway Administration).
Knowledge of Manufacturing process modeling, production execution, and workflow management.
Experience with OEE monitoring, traceability, genealogy, and shop-floor data collection.
Proficiency in SQL query development and stored procedures.
Basic Python, Java, or comparable scripting knowledge.
Experience with REST APIs and web services.
High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."

Desired

Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and plant operations.
Experience with continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives.
Strong technical documentation skills.
Experience supporting integrated manufacturing applications and interfaces.
Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.

Languages

Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams.
Advanced Spanish.
